WORKFLOW: Superflow particles from 3ds Max were used to drive the NAIAD fluid simulation, which was then reimported and rendered with Krakatoa.

Special thanks go out to Igor Zanic and Sergey Shlyaev, who helped me create a simple setup which allowed particles to act as a force field, similar to how the Quantum Force plugin for Realflow works.

I had the chance of designing a pitch for L'Oreal when I was working for the Spatial Harmonics Group. The director's wish was for a hybrid between fluid, fabric and gas, a spectacular piece of fluid animation. I created this gasesous fluid fabric with 3d Studio Max, FumeFX and Krakatoa, compositing in AfterEffects.
